The Farmers Insurance Open golf tournament will be making its way to Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla from January 21-27th and is still need of volunteers to help out at the event. Volunteers can choose from a number of committees including Marshals - responsible for noise and crowd control; Standard Bearers - responsible for carrying a display board for a group of golfers, Leaderboards - responsible for posting scores manual on the large boards, Shotlink Laser Team - responsible for managing a large metal laser to record information and data on shots for the PGA, Will Call, Admissions, Bunker Clean Up, Mobile Device Security, and more. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, be able to work a minimum of 3 full days, and be able to stand or walk for long periods of time. Some volunteers must attend mandatory training sessions, depending on duties.
