Halloween is just around the corner and there are plenty of events to make sure everyone can have a ghoulish good time. The Del Mar Fairgrounds has turned into the annual 'Scream Zone' and is open through October 31st. Activities include a House of Horror and Haunted Hayride. Legoland is offering a 'Brick-Or-Treat' on Saturday night from 5-9 featuring treats and a costume contest. SeaWorld is dishing out treats and Halloween themed shows through the end of October. Balboa Park is featuring its annual mile-long Haunted Trail every night through the end of the month filled with things that go bump in the night. On October 31st, the Prado will host over 2,000 costume clad party-goers for its 9th annual Halloween Bash featuring 20 bars, 4 stages and lots of world-class DJs. The Gaslamp District is hosting a Monster Bash on Saturday, October 27th from 6pm - midnight featuring 3 stages, 4 bars and serious house music. There is also a $3,000 costume contest. The Birch Aquarium is becoming haunted on October 26th and 27th. Join the 'Shipwrecked!' party and hunt for sunken treasure while finding treats along the way. If your pets are feeling left out, head on over to Muttropolis in La Jolla for a Halloween Pet Party filled will lots of tricks and treats for two-legged and four-legged friends.
