La Jolla Art and Wine Festival This Weekend

The 6th annual La Jolla Art and Wine Festival kick off tomorrow, Saturday, October 11th in the heart of La Jolla Village and promise everything from food and wine to auctions, art, and entertainment. Stroll the streets of La Jolla and enjoy one of the most prestigious events of its kind on the west coast. A record 200 artists will be on hand, displaying and/or selling art pieces. There will also be merchants, musicians, marching bands, street performers, face painters, photo booths, and pretty much everything else 'artsy' you can think of.

The Beer and Wine Garden will be featuring a large assortment of local San Diego breweries and a wide variety of local and international wines, including wines from Valle De Guadalupe - just across the border in Baja. Entry to the garden is free and tickets for drinks are $4. The festival is both Saturday from 10 AM - 7 PM and Sunday 10 AM - 6 PM. Be warned - there will be an estimated 40,000 people in attendance so parking could be tricky. Enjoy!
