Coronado

The iconic and spectacular Coronado Bridge spans the San Diego Bay connecting Coronado to downtown San Diego.

Welcome to Conorado

Coronado is a very exclusive island community of San Diego, located immediately west of downtown San Diego. The iconic and spectacular Coronado Bridge spans the San Diego Bay connecting Coronado to downtown San Diego. Coronado has a rich history, is home to some of the most valuable Real Estate in all of California. The downtown area of Coronado is a mixture of shops and restaurants and is home to the famous Hotel del Coronado, aka "the Del." On the west side of Coronado you have sandy beaches and the Pacific Ocean. Homes on this west side have gorgeous ocean and sunset views, as well as views of the 3 Coronado Islands. The north coast of Coronado is home to both Navy and Marine facilities and is where the elite special ops Navy Seals train. The east coast is lined by the San Diego bay and homes here have spectacular views of the bay, the San Diego Skyline and the Coronado Bridge. On a sunny day there are many gorgeous sailboats on the water and San Diego is home to some of the best sailing regattas and races in all of the West Coast. There is an inlet near the Coronado end of the Coronado Bridge called Glorietta Bay. This is a fantastic sailing destination and is home to a marina housing some of the most beautiful power and sailboats in the area. it is also home to the Coronado Yacht Club. The Coronado Municipal Golf Course enjoys views of Glorietta Bay.

Coronado Village

Coronado Village is the heartbeat of Coronado. The homes and condos here are near all of the shops, restaurants, local businesses and government buildings. Orange Avenue is the main boulevard that runs through this neighborhood. The Coronado Municipal Golf Course, the Hotel Del Coronado and the Coronado Yacht Club are also located in this area.

Coronado Shores

Coronado Shores is the neighborhood just south of Coronado Village and just west of Glorietta Bay. it is in this neighborhood that the tall condominium towers are located. The views of the Pacific Ocean, Glorietta Bay, the Coronado Bridge and the skyline of Downtown San Diego are indescribable. You really have to be in one of those upper floor units to fathom the views from these condominium towers.

Coronado Cays

The Coronado Cays is the neighborhood of homes and condos located on the peninsula that runs south of Coronado proper. Homes and condos here often have boat slips either directly attached to their property, or associated with their community or condo complex. The Cays are popular with Sailors, Power Yachtsmen (and yachtswomen) as well as offshore fishing enthusiasts. I've seen an uptick in buyers looking for a place to keep their fishing boats recently in this area of the Coronado Cays.
