Carlsbad

 

Carlsbad, located on a stretch of coast just north of Encinitas and south of Oceanside, is a resort community that boasts some of the most exclusive areas, for residential Real Estate, in the United States. It is named after a famous European spa, at Carlsbad in what is now the Czech Republic, after it was determined that well waters were found to be chemically similar. This was used as a marketing point to get people interested in visiting the area during the late 1800s.

Currently, this quaint coastal community is known for amazing beaches, the charming downtown Village, Carlsbad Premium Outlets, LEGOLAND California, The Flower Fields®, and La Costa Resort and Spa. Carlsbad has also become one of the first cities in the state where ordinances have been enacted to protect the sensitive wildlife habitats in the area. The rolling hills, lagoons, and the Pacific Ocean all help to make Carlsbad a wonderful place to live!
